Located just west of Simi Valley and north of Thousand Oaks sits Moorpark, California. This valley was originally settled by the Chumash Native Americans. Moorpark College was opened in 1967. It is one of only a few programs in the United States that offers an Exotic Animal Training and Management Program. Moorpark is home to a myriad of golf courses. The Tierra Rejadad Golf Course is a beautiful 18-hold course with 5,600 yards of scenic golfing. Designed by Bob Cupp in 1999, it is known for it’s natural beauty and amazing views of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. Rustic Canyon Golf Course was designed by Hanse Golf who shaped the landscape with sculpted bunkers and a hillside dotted with sagebrush, cactus, and towering oak trees.
